Questions

Frequently asked questions

How can our institution register students for TOEIC or TOEFL tests at Amideast?

Amideast helps you schedule TOEIC, TOEFL ITP, TOEFL Junior and TOEFL Primary sessions, manage student registration and deliver the test on your campus or at Amideast centers.

What is the minimum number of students required to schedule a test session?

It depends on the test. In most cases institutions need at least 15 students for a private session; smaller groups can join Amideast public sessions. Contact your local Amideast office for more information.

What is the difference between the TOEFL iBT® and TOEFL ITP® tests?

TOEFL iBT is the internet-based test accepted worldwide for university admissions. TOEFL ITP is used internally by schools to place students, measure progress and assess program effectiveness.

Are TOEIC® and TOEFL® scores aligned with CEFR levels?

Yes. Both are mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), from beginner to advanced, and test takers see their CEFR level on the score report.
