Program overview
The summer Intensive Arabic Program focuses on high-quality Modern Standard and Colloquial Moroccan Arabic instruction at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. From haggling in the medina using Darija (Moroccan Arabic) to navigating Rabat's contemporary neighborhoods, experiences with conversational Arabic are reinforced with coursework.
Intensive coursework combined with daily interactions with host families helps students at all levels increase their Arabic proficiency within a short period. Students have five hours of Arabic instruction per day, five days a week, in a blend of Modern Standard Arabic and Colloquial Moroccan Arabic.
The Intensive Arabic Program is offered in two 4-week sessions, so students can choose to spend one or two months living and studying in Rabat.
