Program overview
Amman, the capital of Jordan, has expanded from a quaint sleepy town to the bustling, multicultural metropolis it is today. As Jordan is deeply enmeshed in the international relations of the region, students may find no better place to study pressing Middle Eastern issues and Jordanian Arabic.
In this semester or academic year program in Amman, students take 15 to 17 credits per semester and have the option of both Arabic and area studies courses taught in English. Students live with host families in Amman, and there are multiple excursions each semester, such as to Petra or Wadi Rum.
See the Application Portal for how to apply, housing and meals, courses and more. Key dates and application deadlines are maintained in the portal as well.
