MENA Scholarship Support Fund
Scholarship relief across MENA
Supplemental support for outstanding undergraduate students from underserved MENA communities who have earned admission but still face a cost-of-attendance gap.

MSSF began in 2006 as the Diana Kamal Scholarship Search Fund (DKSSF) and was renamed in 2023 as the fund expanded to include direct financial support for scholars.
Learn about MSSFUnderstand
Amideast's MENA Scholarship Support Fund enables highly qualified students from underserved communities in the Middle East and North Africa to pursue undergraduate study in the United States. Amideast identifies exceptional students who demonstrate promise but lack the financial means to attend an American college or university.
For students admitted to U.S. colleges and universities with generous financial aid packages, MSSF closes the gap in the cost of attendance so star students can accept offers they otherwise couldn't afford.
Program history
Amideast established the fund in 2006 as the Diana Kamal Scholarship Search Fund (DKSSF), in memory of our late Senior Vice President Diana Lufkin Kamal and her dedication to international educational exchange. As the program expanded to include direct financial support, it was renamed the MENA Scholarship Support Fund in 2023.
